Thinning Hair in Women
Hair loss comes with age. Among men, it’s a cause of concern but people generally accept it. It’s generally more heartbreaking for a woman to lose her hair especially since the hair is considered our “crowning glory”. It’s something that’s part of the woman’s vanity. In our youth, we have it styled, colored, curled, straightened. We grow it long in preparation for our wedding day, we cut it short to look more modern. Next to shopping, it’s great therapy for a woman to have a haircut when she feels particularly down.
Women are NOT expected to lose hair, but they do. So many different changes occur in a woman’s body — pregnancy, childbirth, menopause, thyroid problems, hormonal changes…While seeing about a total of 100 strands of hair strands on the hairbrush and on the shower drainage is normal, seeing a pattern of thinning is not. What to do when faced with such a problem? A trip to the dermatologist may be in order, so that the cause of the hairloss can be determined and treatment instituted. I’m not sure what my dermatologist would know or say about sephren, but so far I’ve seen some sephren reviews and they seem positive. It does look like something I would try out, if heaven forbid, I experience hair thinning at some point in my life.
